For the comfort and safety of all dogs at PupTown, dogs are required to come for a full day of play prior to boarding reservations if they have not participated in PupTown daycare or overnight boarding within 2 months of the reservation arrival date during peak boarding times (holidays and school breaks), or within 6 months during non-peak boarding times. This is to ensure that the dog is still comfortable in a group setting, reacquaint the dog with staff and reassure dogs that they will be picked up.
For their health and safety, all dogs in PlayCare or Boarding must have current Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella vaccines. All vaccinations need to have been administered at least 7 Days BEFORE their first visit to PupTown.
Dogs being groomed that do not mingle with other dogs require a current Rabies vaccine only.

Feeding and administration of medications is on your pups schedule. Food can be dry, wet/canned, refrigerated, frozen or raw.
Please label all food with your dog's name, amount per meal and number of meals per day. It does not need to be packaged per individual meal. It is a good idea to include extra food because of increased activity or in case of a change in plans. We supply all measuring cups and bowls that are sanitized between feedings.
Medications, both oral and injectable, will be stored and administered as directed provided they are in original packaging, with directions from your vet.
All pups must complete a complimentary orientation prior to registering for PlayCare or overnight Boarding to ensure their personality is a good fit for our cage-free, open-play environment. Please contact us at 763-478-0203 to schedule an orientation.
